About Jill Shroyer

Meet Jill, CEO & Founder of Expedition HR

Jill became obsessed with handling sticky situations early in her HR career. She was quickly identified as having "a knack" for handling the trickiest (and stickiest!) situations when she started her HR career working in the hospitality industry. It was clear that her expertise centered around handling difficult situations that come up in the workplace and helping business leaders put processes in place to prevent them in the future.

Not only was Jill good at handling sticky situations, but she loved it and knew she had found her calling! Expedition HR was born from the idea that there is a better way to handle sticky situations... and that is to prevent them from happening in the first place! With two decades of HR experience from administrative to executive level in a variety of industries and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification, Jill is your go-to HR expert.

Jill founded Expedition HR in order to share her HR expertise with business leaders who may not have the resources to hire in-house HR personnel or whose in-house HR teams need additional training in order to handle HR matters more effectively.

Expedition HR was born from the idea that there is a better way to handle "sticky situations"... and that is to prevent them from happening in the first place!

Jill is the best-selling author of the book Conquer Sticky Situations and has been featured on numerous news programs, radio shows, and podcasts. She enjoys speaking at women's business and leadership groups on her signature 5-step formula for handling tough talks at work and in life.

Jill lives in Park City, Utah, with her husband and two children. She enjoys all things outdoors: biking, camping, hiking and skiing. She is passionate about rescue pets and showing her kids the world through traveling abroad.

Expedition HR donates a percentage of each dollar earned to animal rescue organizations.
