Who We Are

At Expedition HR, we provide strategic HR support that helps small and growing businesses be a place where both humans and operations thrive.

Simply put, we "take the scary" out of HR.

We teach HR in a simple, scalable, and approachable way that makes the information easy to digest and implement. In fact, "simple" is one of our core values!

Our commitment to care extends beyond our clients and into the communities we serve. We proudly support animal rescue efforts from Utah to Thailand, helping provide protection and second chances for animals in need.

Meet the Team

Behind Expedition HR is a team of experienced HR guides who are passionate about helping businesses grow safely and confidently. We’re here to simplify the complex, protect what you’re building, and walk alongside you every step of the way.

Jill Shroyer

Founder & CEO, HR Advisor

Early in her HR career, Jill became known for her ability to handle the toughest workplace challenges. Working in hospitality, she quickly developed a reputation for navigating difficult conversations and helping leaders put processes in place to prevent problems before they start.

With nearly two decades of experience across multiple industries and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, Jill founded Expedition HR to help business owners proactively manage “sticky situations” instead of reacting to them. She supports leaders who lack in-house HR—or who need additional expertise to strengthen their teams and systems.

Jill is the best-selling author of Conquer Sticky Situations: A Fresh and Empowering Approach to Tough Talks at Work and in Life and a frequent speaker for business and leadership groups, where she teaches her signature five-step formula for handling tough conversations.

She lives in Park City, Utah, with her husband and two children, loves the outdoors and travel, and proudly gives back by donating a portion of Expedition HR’s revenue to animal rescue organizations.

Kelli Parker

HR Advisor

Kelli brings a strong background in Human Resources and leadership, with a passion for developing people and cultivating positive workplace cultures. She discovered her love for supporting teams and leaders during her time at Chick-fil-A, where she saw firsthand the impact that thoughtful HR practices can have on confidence, performance, and employee experience.

Known for her calm and thoughtful approach, Kelli brings empathy and practical insight to every situation—even the challenging ones. She is committed to helping leaders feel supported and equipped to navigate people-related issues with clarity and care.

Kelli lives in Utah with her husband and their three children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors exploring the mountains, soaking up the sunshine, and traveling in search of new adventures and meaningful memories with her family.
